What is CRM2?
Last year CRM Essentials reviewed the state of CRM in the minority business community (in an article for CRM Magazine) and offered some thoughts on our findings. A lack of awareness and understanding of CRM appeared to be the leading factor in the low adoption rates uncovered. The scarcity of CRM-related content and vendor presence in minority business publications and professional organizations were identified as main contributors to this condition. In the article we coined the phrase Community Relationship Management as a potential remedy for the low awareness and adoption of CRM. Click here for more...

Using community relationship management to raise awareness and adoption of customer relationship management strategies and technologies can now be summed up in one easy phrase – CRM2. Symbolized by the underlined “R”, relationships are essential to the success of this endeavor. Salesforce.com recognizes the importance of building relationships with two of the fastest growing segments of the small business community – minority and women owned companies. CRM Essentials is excited to have Salesforce.com as a lead sponsor of the CRM2 Road Show, starting in Atlanta on June 16th. The aim of these road shows is to introduce minority and women business owners to customer relationship management and to explain how CRM strategies and technologies can positively affect their productivity, profitability and competitiveness.
